Ceramics is a material with high abrasion resistance and excellent low wear coefficient. Alumina ceramics is a typical ceramics with high hardness, on the other hand, zirconia ceramics has a extreme hardness and toughness as well.
As ceramics is able to form a designated shape by sintering, it is possible to make a deep hole with high precision (Depth: 10 x hole diameter) by processing pipe materials. Furthermore, it is also possible to process complexed shapes and to polish up flat surface and outer surface of cylinder.
