Single crystal diamond is extremely hard and has a high wear and abrasion resistance property. But, as it is a hard bristle material and an insulator as well, machining is very difficult. OGURA has lots of experiences and knowledge of processing diamond based on a long term engagement in producing diamond record styli. We also developed our own grinding wheel to process diamonds, and have been engaged in efficiently precision machining of diamond which is difficult to process.

Sharping diamond at nano level with high precision and perforating diamonds at nano level with high precision are our own technology.
